2004 Audi TT was available with 3.2 and DSG. Didn't hear that mentioned.

Just picked up a clean pre facelift 330ci convertible, low miles, low owners, almost full service history for 2k, decent spec too, with auto wipers, auto lights, Factory sport so all the Mtech bits, heated and electric chairs, HK audio system, Xenons, Power Fold Mirrors.

ofcourse it can be hard to tell a difference its a crappy heavy wagon, I dunno why most people even prefer this crap over a sedan version which is quicker and handles better

Wouldnt discount a manual 320ci, 2.2 straight six. Down on power but all the same noises and specifications. I have a very late 06 320ci and have owned all e46 engines historically, once on the open road again the difference isnt as vast as a i thought. Add a comparison with the 2.2 and the 2.5, 20bhp difference when new! Happy to get involved!
@dexietyy792213 күн бұрын
The 320ci is more than enough for UK roads I love mine it’s quick enough for me still get that beautiful straight 6 sound

Don't forget that camshafts, cam adjusters, injectors and the intake manifold are basically consumable items on the M156 engine. I'd say it's actually a lot more expensive to maintain than an E92 M3.

I've had mine with a Ko4001 which is a ko3s with a bigger cold side of the turbo. It helps a bit at the higher rpm's. I love mine. I wouldn't sell it. I have owned it for 13 years of daily driving it. Take a look at my page

Edition 30 with a map and intake was doing 370bhp 10 years ago probably still the same s3 has same engine and 4wd cuppa r has same engine just fwd like the eddy 30. Much rare version of the fsi gti was a perelli edition and the even more rare addidas edition I'm sure thay was the gti fsi. The best car of the lot is the S3.

Great video and one of the best reviews I have seen on these awesome cars. I've had my 330ci manual convertible for 17 years, its done 170k miles and its still my favourite car in my small fleet. I recently bought an F06 M6 with 725bhp and its amazing, but like you mentioned, you cant use anywhere near full power on the roads, its also a 7 speed DCT which takes some getting used to, where the 330 manual is just so great to drive anywhere.

IMO the older car looks better (and I have the newer, albeit with a diesel engine), at least the front. It's more raw, aggressive, less refined. The LCI is just a tad too "polished". They removed some of the classic BMW-ness, if that makes sense. For the same reason I think the F30 looks better than any later 3 series. It shares the same style as the F20 pre-LCI. However, the F20 LCI looks waaaaay better than the current 1 series. It's not even comparable.

13:00 *_"...not everything has to be sporty...."_* YES! Thank you! For at least 20 years virtually all professional (and other) *car reviewers have lauded 'sportiness' equalling 'fun', which to me is a crock.* I have _immense fun_ when gliding as quietly, smoothly and isolated...uh..ly(?) down the road as possible. But *these car reviewers have warped public opinion,* and the minds of the designers of virtually every, fricking modern car, from economy hatchbacks to (supposed) 'luxury' cars. Almost everything has stiff suspension, rock hard seats and those damned big wheel / low profile rubber band tires. *Therefore, we have road noise, tire noise, horrible, rough crashing ride and stiff, unforgiving suspensions* through which we feel every grain of sand on the asphalt😭.
