I drove one a few months ago. It made me smile all the way. That was long ago I had this much fun on any bike and believe me, I drove a lot of them. From 48hp one cylinder bikes to 200hp 4 cylinder bikes. Nothing compares to the torque of an EV. The biggest letdown was: my 20 km test drive used 30% of the batteries. And of course the price is still way too high to make them attractive.

this is what we Need electric. no sportscrs, no SUVs, no offroaders... but cityvehicles, stuff thats supposed to be practical. Vans, busses, scooters, wagons and so on.

5 kms 6% off of the battery with heavy usage, means you can drive around 90+ km with one charge. Not bad!

In my test drive of 20km the batteries went down 30% on a 2014 model. So no long range batteries.

Wow... dat ding gaat als een raket. Doet me denken aan mijn eerste maxiscooter (Aprillia Scarabeo 500i). Dat ding trok ook razend snel op, maar niet zo snel als deze. Het enige jammere van deze scooter is zijn beperkte actieradius van 100km. Hoop voor je dat BMW snel met nog betere accu's komt. Verder een leuk ritje. Veel plezier en veilige kilometers met dit "racemonsterje".

I hate it when people say things like. "Oh no one will hear you when your coming." Get off your damn phones in the streets and pay attention to your surroundings. When I exit my car I immediately put on my headphones when I have to walk a distance away from where I parked. I would rather listen to music or a podcast then engine noises. I am very aware of my surroundings because I practice 'heads up' which means never take your eyes off your path and your peripheral view. I've been doing this since I was a kid and almost got hit crossing the street. A smart individual only needs to be corrected once.

Really neat, but 18K coming to the USA are you crazy! This thing needs to be priced at 10K max. Once again just like when other electrics vehicles came to market whats the incentive to shift from a $6,000 BV500 scooter to this as the initial cost is $12,500 more and then your still limited to 100 miles per day feasibly.

It sounds very loud for an electric vehicle. Lots of motor whine. My BMW i3 is much quieter. My Tesla has a little of the whine I think due to the second motor being up front.
