I’ve owned; E46 320ci E46 M3 E90 335d All were well maintained and had serious mechanical problems.. Tens of thousands spent. Regret massively. So after leaving BMW I’m delighted to say crypto has come in and be purchasing; 340i touring + quad exhaust and remap M4 + Litchfield

It sounds like you’ve more than likely purchased cheaper booted the bollox out of and not looked after BMW’S....unlike me and these guys! I’d say I paid about 2k extra for the peace of mind on a 2 owner very good service history from main dealer E90 330d Manual Sports on 85k now 115k owned 5yrs now. The usual DPF issues but I’m still running the motor with everything as standard. I’ve had to changed the starter motor , alternator and next is the battery so thats lasted a fair while. You’ve got to look after these high performance car, to me I very much doubt I’ll be looking to move from BMW’S....You’ve got to put money into these motors like any other motors but these BMW’S repay you with the frill of the drive! Like we all know, it’s just the way the cookie crumbles on buying motors, some get lucky and some don’t....
