Incorrect greasing procedure. According to BMW TIS, no need to grease the sliding surface of the release bearing, instead only splines should be greased where the clutch disc slides with correct grease which is usually provided with new clutch plate assembly.

After I had replaced a new clutch set on my BMW E87 118D i have difficulties with 1st and reverse when the engine is running, when you drive everything is OK. Also when the engine is off you can smoothly change gears, you start the engine its hard to put it in gear, it goes but not so smooth, any suggestions ?

The tool has 2 diameters, one end of 15 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length and the other of 26.5 mm in diameter and 45 mm in length ..

Nope, just take off the slave cylinder off the gearbox but don't open up any of the hoses \ pipes. It's not necessary
