Great video, thanks. Was struggling to understand NCS Dummy. Couple of questions though: when you first read existing ECU data, I'd been hitting "Read ECU" on F4 instead of changing job to "codieren lesen" and then "Execute Job". Is this wrong? The other - when NCS dummy loads up the .TRC file, I click the drop down for "Module" and I don't see the same ECU modules I do in NCS Expert - e.g. there is no "CAPPL" module in there, and there are multiple CAS modules. Why is this? Really appreciate your help!

Very nice video,why you didn't activate the passive Go too? My problem is that my passive entry don't work but my Go is working. So i will check first in the Dis for errors and in ncs expert for the coding. But I'm afraid that i have to take out each door handle to check the antenna wires,if one handle is broken then all doors won't work i think.

hey man, I am trying to import the. trc file into dummy, it says unresolved function keyword "bremslichtschalter" make sure chassis and module are correct... however if I import nettodat.trc I can get it to read on bc1 05 but not 02 or 03? any idea? can I just edit text file manually and flash that back?

Friends, I think I did a wrong reset. When I locked the vehicle with the remote and got off, it took about 5 minutes. It doesn't open with the remote. Open with the key. After that, the remote unlocking is activated. And only the frame lights of the radio are on.

car is not fully on, its just in the auxiliary position and yes it must have the onboard computer on.

Great video got my car coded! Just had a quick question, as I was exiting NCSDummy he said that it recommends me to erase the FSW_PSW.MAN Folder which I click to confirm to erase that. Just want to make sure I was okay erasing that. Thanks!!

you can erase it. Just remember that before running SG_Codieren, always make sure the MAN file has the correct data in. Thats why the NCS asks to wipe the file clean so that you dont accidentally code another module with the wrong data

I don't have any "check boxes" in NCS DUMMY. It just translates. I give up soon.. After i read the module I only get a notepad file and when I'm trying to save the file as "MAN" I'ts still just a notepad file and it's not saving my changes after i execute job.

i think you are selecting the wrong option in NCSDummy, sometimes there are different sub options. Try different ones until you get the check boxes.

@@ecologicaltime I tried import a "empty" MAN file, then I got the check boxes but every box was unchecked. But I think I found a way.. gonna do some testing later 👍 My biggest problem though is that the files never converts to "MAN" files. It's just "FSW_PSW" as notepad files.

Update: now I got it! I saved the file in "save as" and saved it as a MAN file. Then it worked.
