The journey continues, and as such this one is long. The rear brakes come out, all of it. Calipers, rotors, brake lines and parking brakes. And thusly, leaving the trailing arms pretty much bare to extract after the rear SLS struts come out (next video). This like many cars in the same decade share parts. The M5 rear brake calipers and rotors are the EXACT same as the all the other E28s. The mountings are also the same for the E34, because they where modelled after the beefcake M5 setup. Which is a common "upgrade" but I'll explain why I'm not putting in vented rotors.
And a shout out to bmwfans.info/ for keeping the backbone of referencing available to all of us looking to keep these outstanding cars running...and sideways ;)
