Great car mate. The ls1 has some upgrades yes? Ls1 are hard got in ireland but i am considering one for a manta400 rep i have. When you add you the cost and complexity of any turbo or modern multi valve engine its difficult to argue against an ls

Very nice. There is an E30 LS6 that I am considering buying. How many diff mounts you running? The car I am looking at has the "single ear" mount but it's probably a good idea to install that 2nd diff mount. What are your thoughts on that? What kind of power are you making?

does it feel front heavy or unbalanced? first I was planning on a 2JZ swap now thinking about this, whats your thoughts?

When I bought the car it had an RB25DET + RB 5spd trans. The front end was noticeably heavier than the rear and the car felt unbalanced. With the aluminum 5.7 LS1/T56 the weight balance was much better. The car rotates and doesn't plow into the corners. Keep in mind i'm running 225mm R888's all around. How does it compare to an BMW-engine E30? I don't know tbh as I never drove the car with the stock engine to compare.

That's a difficult question as I did the body, brakes, suspension and interior at the same time as well. I think 10-12K for a LS/T56 swap using Sikky components is a good ballpark figure.
