I used to see an E30 M3 every day on my way to school, the guy would just breeze past and tip the throttle as I watched with cow eyes lol, and sill 28 years later the E30 makes me smile when I see one, although they are getting a little thin on the ground now and don't see many of them anymore.

That's so cool, all the perfect bits, down to the E50s. On the spoiler: the one with the adjustable flap came on the Evo3 only and that flap originally is smaller than the one shown, although nearly everyone puts on that larger flap. The Evo2 had the spoiler without flap, but with a small lip on the trailing edge of the trunk underneath the spoiler. Congrats on 100k subs, you're doing a hell of a job!

Absolutely a BAD ASS E30! Great upgrade dropping the S54 engine giving the E30 a respectful power and performance. Nice muffler work done (Symmetric). Super clean engine bay work with a decent strut brace. Nice BBS rims set and an impeccable black leather interior. Beautiful BMW M Tech II steering wheel, I love it! That's the set up that I love to see, everything original BMW parts which fits perfectly without any weird mods. This guy has all my respect for his outstanding work!! Thank you both for this great AutotopiaLA episode. Btw, nice tune... ;-)

Nice project but it has nothing to do with the original 4 cilinder 2.3 2.5 engine. Way too heavy and there is the big benefit of the M3. Here in Europe they also loose their value when not original. Nothing beats the 2.5 sport Evo but i respect your project. Nice work

Caster...why your steering centers and tries to point you straight, gives stability at higher speeds, and more camber gain while turning. I ran 10 deg on my e30 s54 generally at autox with 3.5 deg camber front. 3 in rear.

It's why I installed DTM suspension into my E30 S54 swap as well, so I could adjust for how I wanted to car to rotate or balance tire wear...Autox I love it twitchy.

I have an 88 M3 Cabrio tribute that is currently S52 powered with a dogleg box out of a Euro 635i. How much work was needed to install this engine and trans? Dream car for sure!, always loved the e30 M3 has always been my dream car. I picked up a clean e30 Wagon last year and absolutely love it, heck I love everything e30, I also have an e30 325is with an s50 swap and a 4 door 325i with the stock m20.. I so want to do this swap on my right hand drive Wagon! Always wanted an E30 M3 but that’s gonna have to wait. Gonna have to call CastroMotorsports and have him tackle this project I’ve been dreaming of.
