Johnny Depp look alike! also this was perfect for fixing my starting and idle issue, Had my e36 start and die, or run if you give it gas and have a rough idle (also throwing 10 codes btw), checked my hose after seeing this and found it was cracked and replaced it. this solved 4 of my codes so big thanks to you!!

I had the oil/water seperator come lose after a backfire; it connects to that intake boot. I had loose head bolts, just retorqued, same car. I had electric fan go bad; took out electric fan and shroud! Had to replace the custom heater hose return from the back of block; bipassed heater! Otherwise good cars! :)

I bought an e36 which seemed in very good shape, just hasn't Ben driven for 5 years, after getting it home I realised it was a big money pit, first I had electrical issues and the battery was draining from full to dead in on night, the second problem was that the battery wasn't charging while running, replaced the alternator with a new one and it's still not charging, everything else put to side it has probably vacuum leaks because is running to fat, you can smell pure gasoline coming from the exhaust, changed the o2 sensor but this didn't help with either, replaced the headlight with new ones because the old ones were faded, and after I installed the new ones, just one headlight is working and the second one is not, I'm slowly losing my mind with this car 🤮🤮🤮 i want to fix it, I want to drive it but it just breaks one thing after another, I hope I'll get it running good so I can pass smog and drive it for a little bit to boost my moral, otherwise I'm gonna remove Al the new parts and I'm gonna crush it no matter what 😥

@@ProblemSolverGarage found your channel from your 944 videos. The idle control valve hose was cracked on my 944 also, and ran poorly with those exact symptoms. Not sure what's up with these hoses - they all seem to go bad

Irregular idol, when it was cold it would want to stall, it ran better with the mass flow sensor disconnected

I have a 98 328i starts runs fine will not idle on its own I replaced the holes you are talking about and still have the same problem any idea why the car will not idle?

Sometimes they pop out or the gasket goes on them, that hose hooks up to it, it hooks into the intake manifold

your videos aare very helpful hey bro, i am subscribe to you channel and i need help i replace my foglights and i replace my headlight Bulbs on my 1998 328i convertible now the brand new fog light wont turn on and the headlight work but the dash keep telling me low beam failure. the funny thing isa the headlights are working. i check the fuse all are good but the Fog lights just will not turn on. when i press the fog lamp switch the high beam bulbs comes on but they look like a park light. i am have found now one or no video on how to fix that. my last resort is to just put the Fog light on a seperate circuit just run separate wire.

OK so whats probably going on is your plugs that the light bulbs plug into are corroded so you’re losing a ground somewhere, remove all the plugs and clean everything really good with a piece of sandpaper or utility knife so it’s all bare metal. As for the headlight failure, I have a video on that you need to add a resistors to the circuit.

@@andrewmclaughlin1086 yoo not yet, got a new battery and alternator, that didn’t do a thing . My next plan is to look at the modules behind the glove box and the dme. Also i will check the electrical resistance of the ICV.
