Bmw e36 ITB build, dyno run and sound

Finished building velocity stacks on my itb m50b25, dyno run it and pushing 210whp!🤩 hope you like it!

@@Uselesse36 Did you make, or look up, any calculations for the length of the velocity stacks, or are they just made so they look good? They certainly do look really nice, but the length affects throttle response at different points in the rev range, so I'm interested to know how you came up with the end result. 🤔

I paid 200€ for s50 intake, 100 to water polish it, 200 for powder paint, 500 for velocity stacks ish

I didn't think about it in that way, i just measured them to be long enough to look good and to have a slight angle on them, in the end everything just got so perfect

I am still waiting to see someone make ITB's worthwhile. The sound is magnificent but getting them to improve area under the curve seems like the impossible dream.

My sense is that it's not a 'performance' mod per se but an experience mod. The only reason to have them at all is that performance cars used to have them and they sound so much better. The proof of this for me is that there are no builds chasing outright power which use ITBs - but you have to admit, the intake sound is streets ahead!

Trumpets are home made with 3d printer, and adapter, just type cnc m50 to s50 intake on ebay
