24:59 that looks like a JB racing flywheel! I just bought one used for $150 and sent it out to their warehouse in FL with an oem m5 luk clutch kit. They go for $900+ now so your car definitely came with some goodies

This was really entertaining to watch mostly because of how happy you two are working together. Awesome parts finds, Dinan had a decent jump in power on these. If you buy the cybul rear sump kit for an e36, the only other mod it needs to drop in is a modified steering link, or move the factory one out with adapters. Just saying!

Great video guys, there`s alot of high quality upgrades on that car (thousands of dollars were spent). In fact the car came from the factory with the best options when purchased- especially the must have - 6 speed transmission (with the sports package). Hopefully, the engine is usable for the swap (if not theres plenty available out there ). cant wait to see the next video.

Hi, greetings from Southern Spain! I love old E24's and I currently have a bit newer 6 series (F12 640i). I was hoping that you guys did a compression test on the 540 engine before pulling it out to find out how extensive job there is ahead of you.

Those front upper control arm has a monoball type spherical bearing in place of a bushing. These are $300+ new, so worth saving to resell. (To me?)

Check for M5 axels too! And if there is an S on top of the Getrag 420G then it is M5 too :)

Keeping all engine and drivetrain related parts for now until a decision is made about what car might get this swap (if any). The sway bars, brakes, and wheels were sold. The body kit is still here.
