This BMW has amazing lines. I love the unique front. It reminds me the Bentley Continental from the 2000s. But it seemed restricted somehow. With these values it should reach 270+.

I dont think that gearbox can go more than 270 without reaching the rev limiter, a 8 speed semiauto would do the trick and even reach next to 300, but it would destroi the manual fun.

@@cristianoamaral829 For 270kmh you need to remove the rev limiter when doing the remap. I've heard that a 320TD with one of those remaps that do a lot of black smoke would reach 270. It seems plausible if even the E46 320d 136cv are reaching 250km/h with a 5 speed gearbox. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXPXnqSXoMeDgLM This compact from the video has a 6 speed.

@@arpcpro It would lack power with or without revlimiter. diesels are revlimited by the the nature they work. well, driven on load, at least. They cut off powerband @5k, maybe a bit later, depending on the total pressure you throw into the chamber. so it won't help here. 270+ kmh is 300hp++ area. my f31 performs quite the same like this, maybe even a blink better. but it wont reach (real) 270+ delimited ;) chilly engines nonetheless ^^ and i miss my m54b30 sometimes for the crispy sharpness it offered ;))

i can tell you that atleast the m47 is restricted to 250, i would guess the m57 also, maybe the owner of the car didnt want the speed limiter to be removed.

@@j_takasaki It is better for the pistons, also, I'm assuming stock GT2260V turbo, the air mass that thing can deliver gets thin past 4.5k rpm. When a stage 1/2 is installed with "GTB" VTG vanes, and bigger inlet and outlets, then it can handle more. But the power band drops of rapidly after 4.5-4.7k and the build seems pretty daily-driveable.

My Grandads 435d with the newer N57 can get close to 60mpg and possibly more than that if you really tried, impressive for 3.0l 6 cylinder with xDrive.

Wtf why should every Upgrade Diesel smoke? That‘s dumb. My A6 C5 from 2004 with Upgrade only smoke when it‘s Cold. But not on the Highway. Diesel‘s smoke when they are cold, or you floor them like an Idiot, when they didn‘t drive on a Highway for a few Years. Then they smoke.

No matter what diesel, the torque is in the low revs really. From what I see for this engine: 560 Nm between 2000 and 2250 - You need to look at the graph to know the torque in other revs

Echt ein graus! Dieses geschalte ist nicht normal! Der 330 D hat so viel NM das las ich doch denn 6 Gang drin und außerdem wird das Getriebe/Kupplung geschont .(oder lieg ich da falsch?)

@@Jens10001 Ja richtig, die Motoren haben dass max. Drehmoment bei knapp 2.000 und die Max. Leistung bei 4000 bringt also rein garnix außer Spritverbrauch den höher zu drehen.
