Greetings from Malaysia. Your channel was the first I've subscribed that featured BMW E46 coupe content since I myself owned a 2000 E46 330ci back in November 2020. I use the E46 as my daily drive. Currently, my E46 is vinyl wrapped with YAS MARINA BLUE colour. I have the front electric and rear seats upholstered (sponsored by an upholstery shop) to a light brown, like cinnamon colour Nappa leather instead of replacing with newer seats that can be bought from half-cut parts shop. I've also fitted the shadow gloss exterior trim and deleted the chrome ones. Anyway, I'm happy for your nice upgrade. I like to watch your videos and please keep the good videos coming.

Car looks awesome in that gloss Black trim!Currently Gloss Black Moulding from BMW is $2239.52 and the chrome version is $1724 93! Too expensive for my 323ci rebuild but I already found rubber Z molding with 3m adhesive for my chrome reveal moulding that works to replace that rotten seal! Saved $1700!

My black 2002 325ci M sport has shadow line trim here in Australia, didn't realise it was that uncommon in the states. Nice work it looks great. Also if you're looking for an idea for your next video you can get the factory 6 CD changers to work with the iBus app and the Avin Avant 4 with a little bit of soldering. Mine works well but there's not much info out there online on how to do it.

99% of every European e46 with the msport package has high gloss black trim, it's not rare at all.

In the BMW universe, gloss black trim is called Shadowline, not shadow gloss.

How reliable are these 330ci models? I found an imola red model with the zhp package but it’s got 200k mikes.

Reliable when maintained correctly. At 200k I would be more concern if body rust than anything else!

They are the worst man. It will all crack the plastics under the hood and leak and fall apart. I work as a BMW Master Tech at a indy shop and fixing these I make a good living

You actually did it backwards. Shouldn’t have laid the bottom strip until you aligned the connecting piece.
