BMW E46 ignition switch repair (no dash lights)

I had this issue with cluster lights, that won't turn on: • Bmw e46 ignition probl...
After cleaning the contacts of ignition switch no problem with lights or car staring up. Its been i guess 6 weeks now after the fix still no signs of the issue, all runs smooth.

Hi I have E46 320i it does not have ignition light only (ABS) light sometimes it start I checked everything fuses and relays

Tshima Muleya try removing and cleaning ignition switch, it is only 1-2 hour job.

What about the 730 2017 lights the dashboard not working

Can I clean it with electronic contact spray?

As long as it cleans the contacts. I know some sprays make electrical wires resistant of water, make sure not to use one of those. If the spray is made to clean contacts you are good to go. Please share your results after using it.

I have ignition lights but no crank!

Could be bad battery, bad starter motor, something wrong with wiring. Certainy need additional investigation, before you buy any parts.
