Thanks for a well explained and thorough video, I followed your video to replace mine and it worked a treat Just a heads up though, the reinforcement plate needs to go under the strut tower not on top.

You should get a set of those ratcheting wrenches/spanners. Would have made it a bit easier to do that top nut. Also I would have used a small size wrench/spanner on that top end to hold it, if it has a fitting size. Looks like a 8 or a 10, which you'd have in the original BMW toolbox by the way. 😉 Greetings from the Netherlands. Ps. Do you know what we call a wrench/spanner? A "steeksleutel" of which the raw translation would be a "proddingkey". Personally when I think of a wrench I imagine a pipewrench. When you say spanner I imagine an adjustable wrench because you adjust the spanwidth. 🤷‍♂️

@@soufsidemotorsports8418 I am currently getting quality tools myself. I am going for the Wera tools for anything general. Hazet for specific car tools. Than again I am in the Netherlands as I said, so I tend to go for German tools. Eh... sorry on that analogy but knowing multiple languages (American English, British English, German and Dutch) you just end up looking at these things from different perspectives. 😅

@@LogiForce86 I like Wera. I forget which video I was watching, but they look like solid tools. I think I’m going to go S-K, personally. The American education system where I grew up does not really teach us any foreign language. I did take about 1 year of French in high school (not sure what the German equivalent is), but without constant practice you never truly learn a language.
