This belt has so many names these days that not sure what to call it anymore, just alternator belt but of course runs many other wheels.

@@DaringBeefcake thanks for that but I've been having alot of trouble trying to get a belt for my car. Its a n47 520d engine same as what you are working on in the vid but an 1817 belt doesn't fit. Ive even taken it to bmw and they don't know why it doesn't fit either. Any ideas or have you ever heard of this problem before. Thanks in advance

@@dbb43 Hi, to be honest I havent heard of that issue Ive done 2 of the same year my brothers and mine and both were ok so am lost for ideas to be honest. Sounds very odd indeed unless someone has replaced one of the pulley wheels with a larger one.
