Mate, you are a bloody legend, this sunroof noise has been pissing me off for over 2 years now,, lubed everything and was slightly better, i then applied two small dots of felt to the wind deflector edges, and now perfectly quiet, thanks again, so good to see something other than the usual rod bearing or actuator issues, cheers mate!

@@MTechGuy bought a roll of black ortmotive felt tape tried it today, no more rattle worked a treat and you wouldn't know it was there thanks again 👍

My main issue is the sun roof hitting the wind defector when I close it on a nice drive lol can’t seem to find a decent solution but it could be the fact it doesn’t go down all the way when it closes like your situation

I also opened the moonroof together with the shade do you think that caused the issue
