Yep, the best you can get before going full LED rings. I've had my LUX V6 ones for just over 2 years and they're still working great 👍🏻. You'll love them!

BMW Fanatic Bros, quick question. I just installed my lux v7 bulbs. My left side looks a little less white than the other. Would you happen to know what could have caused that? The only thing I do remember doing was I kind of touched the reflector tubes with my dirty hands. Think that might’ve been it? I would hate to have to redo this :/

I had these installed in my e90 335i about a year ago, they make such a huge difference! I also purchased the Carly adapter and coded my car to make the angel eyes as the DRL and removed the amber corner lights, it looks so much prettier! 😀

Thanks for the very useful DIY video. I made the decision to change to Lux v7 when one of my bulbs went out on my 2007 335xi. Definitely a learning experience taking the first wheel and covers off, but then the other side was much faster. Messed up putting the angel eye bulb cover back on - next day after a car wash the headlight was all fogged up. When I took the wheel, covers off again, water poured out when I pulled off the angel eye bulb cover, and I found that one of the (silicon?) seals around the angel eye cover had fallen off. After a couple of days of warm weather, it dried up, and all is good now.

My bulbs for the halo's/ angel eyes have been burnt out since I bought my car a few months ago. About time i replace them .. with led! :)

Followed these steps for an LCI E90 (2011, stock halogen). Install was easy. Big improvement. Great vid broham! The color has a "sickly" green hue but it's still a huge improvement.

I upgraded mine a few years ago and people were saying that they would not last like OEM...they did, and looked the same brightness as the day I bought them. A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded to Precision Raceworks DTM LED Angel Eyes with a new lens cover and carbon eye lid.... changed the car look substiantially. Like I just drove it off the lot.

I just bought a 2009 335i yesterday, and will be adding these right after blacking out the kidney grills and lower cowling grills. So you ONLY change the modules, not the actual lights??? Why didn't you show how to put everything back??? Lol. Especially the floppy piece? Putting things back is always harder than taking them apart. Anyway, looking forward to doing this as well. I think they would work, but its more a matter of if you have an LCI or pre LCI. If your headlights look exactly like mine, they will fit.

Just bought a used 2006 330i and absolutely loving it. But prior owner swapped out the old Xeons for a set of ebay ones that have the halos and an led eyebrow. Looks cool and all, but im dying to have the stock ones back in there at some point. To be fair, he did say they were yellowed, foggy, and had water inside them and that he sold them off. Lame. Looks like ill be paying some $$$ to get back a set of oem ones. Nice vid, those lights look great.

Also you might want to have the "voltage check" for your parking light (corona rings) turned off, otherwise the leds might flicker which looks stupid. You can do that either yourself with a coding software (e.g. carly android app and the proper cable) or ask some tuner, or even bmw.

+samlee458 Im sure both brands are about the same. There are good reviews on the forums for both. For some BMW models, half way through the generation they do what they call "life cycle inpulse" which is minor updates to the car's look. Usually changes to the headlights and tailights and other small things around the car. The problem is, sometimes the headlights change to the point where certain bulbs aren't compatible

I did mine yesterday on my 2010 E90 I took off the tires and got red halos but then I realized there was a way easier way from the hood 🙈. And who ever owned the car before had replaced halos and mine didn’t have the original plastic housing, so I just screwed the lights on Anyway and the rings don’t have the same lighting . Any recommendations where I can get the plastic housing ?

So the reason why you change the angel eyes is because of the amber look versus pure white look using Carly. ? but by turning the angel eyes brighter does that lessen the life of the original Angel eyes and burn them out?

Yo Kevin, check ff op www.luxangeleyes.com/products/lux-e90-v7 hier kan je de fittingen kopen. Of je deze fittingen rechtstreeks op een non angel eyes kan doen weet ik niet. Wat wel zeker lukt is inderdaad nieuwe koplampen open die angel eyes beschikken waarna je deze fittingen erin kunt plaatsen. Ik ben het ook van plan om dit in de toekomst te doen op mijn e91 325. Overigens las ik wel dat de v7 niet op de Nederlandse openbare weg mag... Mocht je het al hebben gedaan ben ik benieuwd naar je ervaringen!
