Upgrading the tail lights on your E90 BMW isn’t expensive, but it makes a big visual impact on the look of the rear end. Installing these lights was simple and the whole job can be done in about 15 minutes. This is one of those modifications that I wish I had done a long time ago.
These lights utilize the factory lightbulb module, meaning they are plug-and-play with no additional wiring or coding required. Since these use the stock light bulbs, there is no compromise in the visibility or reliability of the lights.
Eventually, I would still like to do a full LCI conversion on the rear of the car. But for now, these are a much cheaper alternative and I’m really happy with how the car looks.

I agree with you on the pre lci rear brake light but I have seen them on the lighter silver or even white cars and look so nice because that reverse light part really blends in a lot better and it really brings out the L shape accent of the rest of the light. I have a dark graphite e90 and was thinking about tinting the lens to a nice smoke to help blend it in better.

One of the first thing I did on my 13 E70 was to replace all brake and turn signals bulbs to LED. Also the amber front turn signals and fog lights.

I have the E91 LCI but that tail lights are great in your car. :) I only have LED on the Angel Eyes, but now its difficult discover the headlight with that color of white for the low beam. I don't have xenon like you. :| Thanks Justin, love your videos!

@@jazielalessandri Blacklines/whitelines weren't the stock tail lights. The original European tail lights are almost exactly like the ones he got rid of. Only difference is that the European blinker lens is dark orange (almost not noticeable) instead of red. US headlights however look very different bc they have those orange reflector things

lol, the tailights on the e90 Pre LCI is what I like the most about the car. The LCI ones are wwaay worst since the shape is cut and does not fit well with the fixed part (the part not attached to the trunk). But I do like these ones you are installing here, they look really nice

Adding them to my 06 330i right now great improvement, I got a question for you though a got the dreaded SOSmalfuction but it is the headunit,I got logic 7 is their a cheaper radio harness for are car since its fiber optic to do aftermarket radio they want 300 dollars for the wiring harness just about anywhere....any help would be very appreciated

I just discovered some pictures of the E90 clay model and a crash test prototype having a different taillight design than the production model.. There were no taillights mounted but the shape of the gap lets me think that they would've looked very similar to the taillights of a 2006-2011 Honda Civic Sedan or the 2005 Audi A4 Wagon. I don't know why they changed the design but I'm really curious about how the car would look with those pre production bow shaped taillights.

Just picked up a set for $160 on eBay. Worth a shot. I kind of wanted the Mars lci style lights but like to keep it subtle at the same time. I questioned the white/smoke and wanted more red like lci. But they're darker and don't stick out like the old white one
