Good of you to look out for other Bmw owners who might come across this similar problem. Unfortunately for me I may decide to sell mine as I am learning the sad history Bmw has with not taking care of its customers and using inferior materials (recycled/cheap crap) which are failing at high rates as opposed to using raw materials (cost saving and charging more). It is a shame because I really like some Bmw models but the more I learn about the company more I realize I need to ditch the hype and find a company that has some respect for their following. JMO

Yea your right but I did not buy it to have something reliable I bought it due to experience with repairing them and wanted to start youtubing to help other people along the way so their car can get back driving again and I love the looks and style of them

I sorted mine,2 fuses no problems at the moment

Replace fuse number 4 and,50 whic are fot the car access, in my case 50 was missing

I been a owner of 2011bmw328i since 1/2/2024 it gave me problems 1st night i took it home, it didn't start the next day, sent it back, they had for 2 months, i really like the car, that's when i started doing my homework on these things, seeing other owners and them letting me know its a money bag, it always needs something. I had a oil leak in the gasket, it made the serpentine belt come off and into the fan, got that fix. It feels like it wants to shut off at traffic lights at stop. (BREAK MY WALLET BMW)😅😅, i guess if you want this problem 😅 you got it.😅

crankshaft position sensor for me. 4 stalls. 3 at a red light with no codes and one in third gear while I was driving that pulled a code.

I fixed my car mine had a bsd issue which shut everything off to avoid damage. Mine had a bad oil level sensor the car thought the motor would sustain damage driving so that's why mine was shutting off then would start back later. I would check those components and go from there.

Scan it with an actual bmw scanner to let you know if it is a bsd issue or fuse box issue power wire issue

did you fix the issue? same problem here. Not check Engine codes the only code that i found. Engine oil level at minimum. i'm planning do oil change soon but i don't think so it might be the cause. Any idea?

Too late I got alternator starter battery about 2k in and my battery is still draining something is making it not stay asleep

If it's draining while off I'd look at stuff like the amplifier in the trunk. If it's doing it driving then I'd be looking at the bsd components .

Guys chek your battery positive terminal cable sorted for my e90 same as you tried diferent garages with no solution..after i recieved a recall and it was sorted for free,the cable is grtting rusted with the time and this was cousing the car to due randomly

I believe that's the positive cable terminal on the fuse box that they changed. I know there is a recall on that.

Na I found the issue. Oil sensor was showing no oil in the motor and killing it.

It would start fine idle forever but driving I could go a mile down the road no problem turn around come back and it die before I pull in my driveway

get a foxwell nt530.....or 310 (something like that) it will let you know right away
