Great colour! Always fancied Silverstone on an E9X. I'm running the KW HAS kit on standard shocks, 20mm front spacers, and 12mm on the rear I believe. I've got a custom geo on the car as well, dialling in some rear camber not only for fast road but to help get the fitment right at the rear. Thanks mate!

I have owned both the V8 E90 varient ( Specifically E92 Coupe) and the infamous V8 Lex ISF. I have my own personal ACTUAL life experiences and opinions with these awesome vehicles and I'm curious to what you guys or gals prefer over the other and WHY ?

I've owned a manual E92 and now a DCT E90, and I have to say the E90 and DCT is much better to drive. I fit better in an E90 anyway, and the DCT is just a much more engaging gearbox that uses the powerband way better than the manual does

Basically the Estoril was on the E36 I had one😍. On the E9x it was on special order so ultra rare because Montecarloblue is its rare replacement color too, in my opinion it must have been in the catalog following the Countries ...Interlagos or Lemans is more widespread. For example there are more choices of colors in the USA on the F80 than in Europe.

Fair enough! Everyone's different. I just find the manual not very engaging due to the long gear ratios. DCT keeps the powerband nice and potent so you always feel like you're in the right window, plus you're shifting more in the DCT whereas the manual leaves you in gears for longer. That's the case for me on British B roads anyway, you might be from somewhere different

The manual doesn't utlilise the engine at all properly due to the long gear ratios. If anything, it is a crime to not expose the powerband as much as the DCT does. Proper gearbox.

@@OGjackH100% agree. I recently test drove both manual and DCT transmissions on the new M2… there is no comparison. It feels like the manual transmission is an after thought? I also enjoy driving with the paddle shifters, I find it surprisingly engaging. I have also driving primarily manuals the last 20 years.

Me too! I've heard the manual on the M2 is better than the manual on the E9X platform, but I do find DCT super engaging. If you think of it like driving a racecar, I find it quite enjoyable. The only good manuals these days are in Porsches imo. Or an older car of any manufacturer
