BMW E9X intermediate (rear) brake hoses replacement | Part 1 | 328i

Here we go - Intermediate / rear brake hoses. One of those special things that you don't find on other cars, usually. Difficulty level - well, not that difficult, but not easy either. Especially if you have rust involved.

Hey man, great video, I had a question, I'm getting my rear subframe replaced, I've already got a new rear subframe (comes with new factory bushings, not going for aftermarket), new control arms/toe arms, new bushes that go on the wheel hubs, and I was also going to get new stainless steel brake lines for the front and rear as well. Are there two lines per side? I was also wondering if you could let me know what other bits I should get for the replacement? Such as rear sway bar bushings etc? Thanks

Thanks. Rear brake lines count is 4 total, which is 2 per side. I would think that swaybar bushings and end links, yes. Also the heat shield that is above the subframe, that thing usually rusts at mounting studs, and impossible to replace without removal of the subframe.
