I would not advise using pry bar tool to compress pistons leveraging against brake rotor. You can work them in by hand. Prevent damage to brake rotor, and brake caliper piston boot. It may be OKAY to do, just not good practice. Otherwise great video!!

Hey, at 15:31 when you moved the rotor, were the brake pads rubbing on the rotor? Mine does what does this mean
@InlineSixAuto3 жыл бұрын
Yes. That’s normal. Since they’re fresh set of pads they’re very thick they’ll rub on the rotor for awhile until they wear down over time. At least that’s what I think lol
@docdrops8185 Жыл бұрын
When I look at FCPEuro to buy these, it says that the rotors are used w/ M sports package. I would assume that they are referring to the M sports brakes; however, it looks like you have the Gray brakes ( I believe these resemble the brembo brakes). Even though the site says to use it with the M sports package, they work on these as well? Would you be able to explain this for me?
@InlineSixAuto Жыл бұрын
The only thing you need to pay attention to is the rotor size. The grey brembo brakes that I have fit with 340x30mm sized rotors. The colored Brembos with the M logo fit with 345x24mm or 370x30mm rotors That's all you need to know and look for. The size rotors you need are stamped on the inside of your brakes as I show in the video I believe. It should say '340' '345' or '370' and that's how you confirm the size you need

Quick question does they make any Noise when you driving
@InlineSixAuto3 жыл бұрын
They do actually. There’s a buzzing sound coming from the front rotors. Apparently that’s a common issue with these specific rotors.

@@channelom5179 your stock brakes are plenty fine with stage 1. Im on Stage 2 E30 with BM3 and my braking is still good. They can handle way more than that from what I've seen so I don't think its necessary to worry about upgrading anything on your braking system.

Was wondering the same. My concern is brake shudder when braking at high speed. It always happened on my previous cars with one piece rotors. I noticed it never happens on the beemer, I always thought it's the 2 piece design.
@horlixs2 жыл бұрын
@@tirolekubu8578 well i had to go down the single rota route myself due to costs. All i can say is i have no shudder its extremely smooth however i have noticed they are not quite as sharp as oem ones. But that could be down to the aftermarket pads.
