BMW F80 Horn Replacement:
If your horn sounds like a clown car, it's most likely your low frequency horn that went out.
It's much easier to do this job with the front wheel removed off the car.

How many horns does the car have? Do you just change the one on the passenger side?

Went through the same exact thing man. I replaced the low tone horn with one I got from FCP Euro. Says it fits, and it sure does. But it sounds like crap!!! I’ve been itching my head for the past 5 months trying to think of why. Thank you for this video and providing the correct part#!!!!

You don't need OEM horn and pay $$$$$ for it.

Thanks for the video, had a similar issue. I had a bit of a luck in my case. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started to work again.

Horn sounds can be terrible. I'm in the GR Corolla, and you won't believe how puny it sounds. Also, I wanted to ask you is 91 Octane similar to 92 Octane, or even 93? I've never used them in a performance car, and don't quite know he differences.

Thanks for the awesome video! I wasn't sure if it is the low or high frequency horn which is broken on my F80. I guess I suffer from the same symptoms as you 😂 frequent honking at stupid people

Same exact issue with mine lol some lady cut me off so hard and I had to brake to avoid accident, so I laid down the horn and next time i used it, I was driving a clown car 😂 I’m sure same one went out on mine the low frequency
