moto camping video? yes - camping without a fire is dumb? also yes. Cool adventure! I have also have a 310GS - while I love the idea of a 1250 I just don't do that type of riding (long distance adv). The CB500X seems like a logical upgrade from the 310. I had a T7 and it was too much bike for me, I love how light the 310 is. Cheers!

I think my upgrade would be from a Royal Enfield to a 310GS. Looked at a new one today, had been at the dealer for a year. Might wait for the 24 or maybe a very low mile used.

I think that’s a great upgrade! Yeah I don’t think I’d wait for the 24 nothing is going to change between the one at your local dealer and a new one. A low mileage one would be a good option, definitely could get it cheaper but new is only $6200 roughly so you might save a grand or two. But a new one comes with I think a 3 year warranty so to me that’s pretty valuable. I would probably go with a new on just because the saving wouldn’t be enough for me to take on a used bike with no warranty. Now if we were talking about a more expensive bike, then I would consider used because of the savings.

I actually liked the stock tires on gravel, albeit with much lower psi in both tires than recommended. But...the stock tires felt like you were on ice when on muddy or wet grass surfaces. I bought Bridgestone knobbies but they still are not great in mud.

Yeah the stock ones aren’t bad in gravel but as soon as you hit mid it’s pretty much game over! I’m looking at getting TKC 80 or Shinko 804/805
