Another great video Justin. I have been waiting a long time for a video like this which explains replacement of the telescopic sprayer. You achieved this in a clever, simplistic, detailed manner. I had drivers side sprayer fail and the BMW dealership charged me an "arm and a leg" $$$...The BMW Dealers always make repairs like this sound like they are performing work on the NASA Space Shuttle . My passenger side front sprayer is failing. I will be doing this myself. Thanks and keep up the good work Justin.

You're the best. I had my recalls done yesterday at the dealship, of course. I hadn't noticed a leak until today. They topped off the fluids and the washer fluid is filled to the top of the neck. I wonder if they over filled it and that's causing the leak?

Hey Justin! Your videos have always been such a great help. On my 2011 328xi, I noticed that after running the green rain X washer fluid the area right by the headlight washer cover is starting to have its clear coat peel. Do you think a leak and the rain x could have caused it to peel? Thanks for your time and all the effort you put into your videos. You’re definitely my fav BMW channel.

If only the two clips came out so easy. Spent well over an hour trying to get these out. One you can just about see through the wheel arch and can be unclipped with a screwdriver from the front of the bumper, and the other you have to feel for. There's no way you can just twist it out without fear of breaking the clips.

Justin, Thank you very much for your help. I had a guy in a body shop replacing my bumper .. he used a spring for the led.. now when you active it, it opens up.. splash.. and does NOT close! I'd have to close the covers manually.. is there like a piece that attached the nozzle to the cap? thnx
@justinbuice5 жыл бұрын
If it's not closing, it's possible that the cover is installed upside down. The shape of it looks like it can go either way, but it will only close if you have it right side up. I just replaced my bumper this past summer and the problem that I ran into was the opening on the new bumper didn't quite have enough clearance for the nozzle so I had to do some sanding to get it to close properly

@jimlink41244 жыл бұрын
Seems like a bad idea to replace this part, since it'll just fail again in a few years, and really isn't needed for most people in the first place. Bad design all around. Best fix seems to be to fold and tie the tube so that no more fluid can leak out. Cheap, easy and long-term fix.
@MaxyICT3 жыл бұрын
How do you do that? Mine leaks without even using it
@jimlink41243 жыл бұрын
@@MaxyICT I had a buddy help, but it wasn't too hard. We just jacked it up, took the front wheels off and then found the washer tubes right above/behind where the wheels were. Pulled the tubes out of the washer heads, and plugged the end with a large screw and tied it tight so the screw would stay in, then zip tied the tubes to a random piece of metal. No leaks since!
