when bmw launched k1 to uk in early 90s they called it: "the world's most technically-advanced motorcycle" which is pretty-much true. but the thing that sealed the deal for me was the dan dare's spaceship styling: from the ugly - but correct - front mudguard, to the tantalisingly-shaped seat tail.

I wanted to buy a CX650 as my next motorcacle, but quickly realised that I am way too big for that thing, now I am looking at K1s, kinda funny that you have the same development XD

After Wright Brothers BMW motorcycle Star making this style engine it is called in line inclined style engine very few people know this

They're stunning in person and make total sense. In photos the perspective makes them look busy, which isn't the case in person.
