BMW M140i: Bootmod3 Stage 2+ Tune and Ultra Racing Front Strut Brace.. Game changer?

It's been a long time coming, moving from Stage 1 tune to Stage 2+...
Current power mods:
1. Cold Climate Mod
2. aFe Pro Dry S Air Filter
3. Akrapovic Downpipe
4. B58TU HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump)
5. Stage 1 custom tune (done before the above mods)
The stage 1 tune is not taking advantage of all the mods, so I chose an off the shelf (OTS) stage 2+ tune from bootmod3 (aka bootmode) from protuningfreaks to take the car to the next level and for the engine to take advantage of the mods.
I loaded it myself. But the B58TU HPFP was installed by Simon at Scitech.
Also fitted the front strut brace from Ultra Racing, to tie together the front of the car.

B58TU2 video is a must for this channel. I promise it is on my to-do list, but I don't know when it will come.. I cannot describe how busy I have been lately. But I promise it is coming.

Spark plug change will also help. One step colder like ones used on new supra and 340 etc

Generally I agree, but I did only the minimum required by BM3 for stage 2+. That was the downpipe and the fuel pump.

Happend to me aswell my coolant rised up over night it was a bit above max couldnt explain why

If possible, can you please write here the OEM part numbers of the caps? Today I was not able to find any on those the are in my car. Thanks.

Sure thing Peter, the replacement caps I installed are P/N 17117639020 (main coolant expansion tank) and 17117639024 (intercooler coolant expansion tank). These are also the P/Ns that are found in the IPC (RealOEM).

Is it really worth the gap from stage 1 to 2+ if you don't care about the sound gain from the sports cat? I find it lethal already at Stage 1 lol

Here's my thoughts: Stock to Stock&JB+ tuning box: Adds a little spice. Stock to Stage 1: Better than tuning box, but feels alot like stock just more power. Stage 1 to Stage 2+: Completely new car, extremely eager to accelerate even at ECO Pro, seriously, I have to check if I'm in ECO Pro, because it feels like sport. I even have burbles in ECO Pro. Burbles. I don't know if my charge pipe will last, or if my engine will last with Stage 2+, but car feels more like a weapon than ever before.

@@ScottPC Pretty much sums up my journey so far too. Not planning to sell the car, just planning to keep on upgrading it, so as it's mine forever I'm basically taking my time. More mods coming...
