U saved me from selling my sweetly specced (imo) m140i with a manual box and sunroof. Almost want to swap that for an mx5 1.5 for cheaper running cost and the classic Miata driving feel. NA exhaust note despite 4 pot also hits differently. I guess I’m feeling like underutilising my car just because I haven’t pushed it enough. Bout to join the evoclub and see if we get a chance to meet! Haha

I'm an M2C owner and DIY detailer. Really appreciate your thought's on getting the most out of ownership. I definitely need to get some some instruction to enjoy that mid corner control that you talk about. I lived in Hong Kong for 8 years and flew extensively throughout Asia until 2020. Love the places and people and your video makes long to return.

Thanks Greg! Glad to hear from another M2C Owner too! It really helped when I went for driving and drifting class. It helped me get a grasp on how the LSD works in mid corners to exit. I found that keeping a little bit of throttle going in helps engage the LSD and slowly (and carefully) squeezing the throttle out of the corner really gets the best of the Cornering capabilities (and fun) of the car. Just make sure you don't dive in too fast into the corners or brake into the corners. Have fun!

Nice car🙌 I had the 2018 Lci model m2 loved it was wanting to upgrade it end of last year but the new m2 looks so bad🤦‍♂ i ended up opting for a 2020 m4. love it also i guess the end of the day no matter what car you have if it puts a smile on your facing driving it then it's the right car for you👍

Great review, but I was looking forward to thoughts on it compared to your previous Megane RS? I have a RS265 and contemplating the move to an M2 comp. Is the M2 worth 4 x the price of the Megane (I’m in Australia). Also considering a 2015 Cayman 2.7l. Daily driver and weekend fun car.

Ahh thanks. And sorry I missed that part in the review. My mic ran out of battery. I think the Megane is also a very good sports hot hatch but very dailyable. M2C falls in that category but bring a FR Coupe. Is it ALOT faster than the Megane? On straight line yes, but on twisties Megane will be slower but it’s not far off in good hands. Is it as rewarding and fun? Yes the M2C is rewarding and fun. I think the M2C has a little “craziness” compared to the Cayman - which is rewarded with smooth driving. I hope this gives you some idea to make a decision. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
