It can be done, but we're talking about completely modifying the entire engine bay to make sure the engine would sit properly in, and mandatory dry sump system. All in all, it will cost you around 35k for parts and work.

Does anyone else think BMW has completely lost the plot in terms of where they are now? Making absolutely diabolical looking cars and sticking a competition badge on something and charging an absolute fortune for very little compared to a normal m car of that version? Also the names like z4 m40i... Just ridiculous, it's not that they make bad cars and I'm not saying they are because we all know BMW are unreal cars it's just the way they are today seems like they are falling behind, amg is now the leader imo and it's a shame, please no hate just my opinion would love to hear your guys and girls thoughts

BMW still builds manual RWD driver's cars where Mercedes AMG and Audi RS have long abandoned manuals, BMW M cars also are lightest in their class much lighter compared to Audi RS and AMG, BMW M is still ahead.
