@@SRF-Interim-en-Training I have had the opportunity to drive a rs4, its sounds better and raw. But I still prefer the M5 f10. Its power delivery and jeckyl and Hyde nature. Its thrust is truly amazing.

@@PerformanceLifestyles looking at 2013 2014 mate, I am deeply regretting not buying last year when I could have, because the same car is 5k more lol. Hoping used car prices drop a bit but not likely with world events, and more chip shortages coming!

@@trading-university. i regret selling my GTR as the prices jumped around 10k a couple of months after I sold it 😳 You'll definitely not regret the move to a M5. Just watch out for the common issues ie fuel pumps etc as they can be costly. Let us know when you get hold of one 👍

@@PerformanceLifestyles Cheers mate. It's funny you mention GTRs as that is the car I really want but I cant fit the family and dog in easily I dont think lol. I was seriously looking for one very recently (2 weeks ago) before I decided on an M5 but the prices seem way above what they used to be, £40k for 09 plates with higher miles? I sold a Supra that was fully built a few years ago and now they are silly money too. So decided on an F10 as a daily and get a GTR for a weekend beast but sadly I dont see their prices coming down again :(

Great car when I drove it and I still see it around, looks good still. These cars in general eat up motorways so I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed with this 👍

Did the rod bearing get done on this m5 I've heard the bmw m cars suffer from rod bearing issues from factory

No the rod bearings have not been done but saying that, this car is perfect 👌 That issue isn't as common as you'd read about. I've known a few people with 80k miles plus M5 and no issues 👍

83k on mine and no issues other than having the fuel pumps changed at around 50k. Mine is a 2012 so the old steering wheel but that doesn't bother me really. Look after these cars and you will have years of joy.

My previous car was an E60 M5 and for me personally I don't think anything can match that V10 experience. I am thinking about the F10 I just don't think the experience can match that of the E60 mainly because of the engine

The 5.0 V10 is a masterpiece for sure. These newer M cars are just so much easier to drive hence the bigger following. The V10 was a proper experience. Use to own one, White with Red leather.....loved it 🔥

@PerformanceLifestyles That's the thing I don't think anything modern can match that V10 which will never be replicated. Yes the F10 is faster and more user friendly as a daily but the overall experience and excitement wouldn't be the same. If I hadn't experienced the E60 then I'm sure I'd love the F10, but once you get a taste of that peak Motorsport BMW era, it's hard to follow it up. Wow MashAllah white with red was my dream spec in the E60 was just so damn hard to find one when I was buying 😫

@UR92- there's certainly more drama with the E60. The E46 rasp was a good tune too which I must admit sounds better than the S55. That era of cars in general were a more thrilling drive but the newer cars are just 'jump in and drive' Type! Yeah Alhamdulillah the white and red was great, the added benefit was a brand new SMG pump and clutch 😀🔥

It’s the Torque that jumps up the most, over 150hp gain and over 200nm. But now I just got valve stem seals replaced, pcv head machined. Valve stem guides reseated. And still smoking, natural warp in block?
