BMW Mini F54 F55 F56 Front Grill swap in 5 steps [without bumper removal]

How to remove/swap the front Grill without removing front bumper. This video was inspired by tweedbeen video from 2015, but man.. there were so many extra steps involved.. I have decided to make my own video, which shows a bit more..
Total time required about 1 hour.
Step 1. Remove 5 screws (easy access from top) (~1 minute)
Step 2. Unclip 8 clips (~15 minutes total)
Step 2.1 Remove factory glue from 4 clips - two in the middle clips and the both end clips. (~10 minutes)
Step 2.2 Unclip all 8 clips (thin screwdriver is a good help) and remove this part of old grill, you will now have access to the chrome frame clips. (~5 minutes)
Step 3. Unclip chrome-frame (only two top clips, one on each side) - use screwdriver to open the clip (to access this clip you must use some force and pull upper plastic of your old grill up, it should not brake and you will have enough space for your hand) (~5 minutes)
Step 4. Open all chrome frame clips attached to your grill. There are two type of clips, bigger and smaller. It starts with smaller clips (chrome frame top clip) and next to it is bigger clip (chrome frame bottom clip), both are closing in different way. Secure your unclipped clips becuse they will try to clip back. (~30 minutes)
Step 4.1 Remove grill bottom clips, just shake the grill and it should be enough, if you get to this point you probably won't need any help, becuse this is very easy compared to the top clips.. Remove old grill. (~5 minutes)
Step 5. Install new grill in reverse order (~ 1 minute of work)
Please forgive some unstable footage but 2 people should replace the grill for the best efficiency and I am doing it myself, with camera in one hand..)

I would just remove that JCW badge though where it isn't a JCW. Great tutorial, nicely detailed 👍 It is ironic that I want to put black vinyl over that red accent piece on my F54 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trying to dechrome my F56 grille trim by spray painting(plastidip). Yikes! This process doesnt seem so easy, risking any of the plastic pieces potentially breaking off. Any other easy suggestions?

Thanks for the video...I'm really struggling to remove the chrome surround from the grill... Ive tried a few times now and end up quitting and putting everything back together because I need the car!!.... any additional tips for this stage?... Thanks

You need to remove just one clip to remove the chrome surround enough to replace the grill (step 3). Locate it in my video and press the clip from top same time pulling the chrome frame. Or skip the scredriver, hold the chrome frame with your both hands around the clip area and shake it strong a few times, it should let go..

I have different question ,do you know how to remove plastic front bumper cover ( thing where reg plate is screwed to ) , do I need remove whole bumper ?
