Question why are some of the bics in all wooden pallets with cardboard coverings and plastic wyl other bics are in metal pallets with only plastic cling film as covering plus all of the usually ancillaries as the all wooden palleted bics. Just a observation that I noticed as the bics go to be packed for shipping.

I believe the metal crates are for bikes delivered using road freight (from Berlin to surface destinations), whereas the bikes packed in wooden and cardboard crates are for overseas destinations.
