BMW N43 E61 engine PCV valve breather replacement not possible?

I Brought a used valve cover from eBay, study how to remove the PCV valve cover , see what might get damaged. Here is the result . After cut the cover was off with standard knife, the cover was damaged, there is some part still glued to the bottom. Maybe I should heat it up with hot air blower first. You can see how the valve diaphagm works inside. I think it is not possible to remove the valve cover off without damage anything. It cannot be reused after that. There is no after market N43 PCV valve cover to buy, but there is new membrane you can get from Russia . My suggestion is just replace the whole valve cover if you want to do a good repair for PCV valve problem on BMW N43 engine.

This is the best fix of this engine, changing this rubber part and the engine still work fine again , no more misfires and engine lights again, I did the same job and my engine still running like new, 178k Kms

its also interesting to note there is no resistance when blowing or sucking though the vent pipe - tried it on 3 covers, 1 old and 2 new.

no i did not glue it.

Thanks for your reply. I sealed it with Würth black engine sealing. Works as a glue and as a sealing for engines, transmissions, resistant for oil, petrol, and temps from -40 to +260°C. Works great (•‿•)

This link is interesting. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2q0k4GFrsaSi8U. However, instead of the cutting wire, use a dremmel rotary cutter to cut off clean around perimeter and then add high temperature sealant to reseal after replacing diaphragm and spring.
