I asked at my local BMW dealer about bar risers. They wouldn't recommend fitting them as they said it puts stress on the cabling. 🥺🙁

Helpful video, thanks. Question: I noticed you used a puller (not supplied) and kept the handle bars intact. This is different than the instructions provided which call for complete removal of grips etc. and a Wunderlich supplied pusher bar. Is there a reason you chose this method? Obviously i don't have the custom puller you used in your video.

I did mine in april 2019 and im very happy with them, nice video, but the sound is a bit to quite and the light in your garage is not bright enough

It's disappointing that BMW don't install a handlebar riser / adjustment as standard on such an expensive bike.

I'd be curious how you like them after you ride for a week or so. I've considered installing them on my RT to reduce the strain on my wrists.

How's the ride with the new risers? Do you feel a marked difference? I recently put one on from Black Labs. Made a huge difference for me.

Hi Steve, have just watched your video, very informative. The ilium handle bar removal tool you used from a third party, have you still got use of it ? The reason I ask is I've got BMW R1200RT LC 2015 and have bought some Wunderlich Handle Bar Risers for it, and all you get with the risers is a Drift, to remove the handle-bars, which is no good to man nor beast ! I live in York, and wondered if you didn't live too far away, would you consider fitting them for me, obviously with the use of your friends ilium handle bar removal tool. I WOULD PAY YOU FOR DOING IT OBVIOUSLY. Please let me know if you can help me please. I know I can buy one direct from ilium in the USA, or can you buy them from an outlet over hear that you know of ? Just looking for some help that's all Steve, I hope you can help me. The underlick Handlebar Riser are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE . . . . it's financial extortion.
