I don't own a beemer now but I came across your channel recently. I watched the video with you explaining the big TFT menu hierarchy on your beautiful RT. Your content is informative and well articulated. I wish your channel success. Keep up the good work.

Hurricane Ian wiped out my 1250rt so now that i have insurance $ in-hand, i got a new '23 1250 gsa!!! Your video is fantastic and its the 3rd time ive been back here!!!!

Hi Federico, sorry to hear you lost your RT in Hurricane Ian. Thanks very much for taking time to comment 👍 glad I could help, that’s the whole reason why I thought about starting this channel 😊 comment like this motivate me to make more videos. I am very much interested in knowing your experience on switching from RT to GSA. Could be something in my future as a second bike.

One of the best ways to remove Roundels from adhesive is with dental floss or the string from inside 550 parachute cord. Use it like a saw going back and fourth and it goes through the adhesive pretty well. It beats marring or scratching the Roundels.

😃 thanks for sharing. Hopefully it’ll help some of the future viewers. Using appropriate tools makes a whole lot difference. At the time I didn’t know how they were affixed to the chrome pieces.

forgot to ask you brother, since the right side is connnected to the euro hella din positive, when you shut off the bike it stays on longer than left side. do you have a solution for it perhaps another wire to connect? have you noticed that ? it doesn't bother me but it would be great if they can be both turned off the same time.
@ninerpeak2 жыл бұрын
Yes. I did notice that. I would be looking for another cable to tap into to have them turn off at the same time.

@@ninerpeak I’m thinking about to tap in the left side just run a cable across with heat shroud of some sort

Great mod the only problem is that if you use the feed to the power socket, when you plug a battery charger in there the light activates.

I installed these and they look great and work awesome. I find that mine cause interference with my radio. Did you notice any with your install.
@ninerpeak Жыл бұрын
That’s great! Unfortunately I do not have onboard speakers, so I won’t be able to provide any input on that. You may need a different power source. Maybe install like an accessory on EZHexCan or similar power regulator.

The radio seems to experience interference to the extent that it becomes unusable, but since I usually play music and listen to radio through my mobile phone, the disturbance doesn't really affect me.

@tsahihdr Жыл бұрын
@EnriqueCristianMonteldelaRoche I haven't tried to disconnect the right side only and check if the radio interference persists. On the right side, it is connected to the 12v jack so it turns off couple of seconds later.

Nice 👏 I just did a trip to Mount Washington it rained up there and was super windy as usual. Both lights are working without issues. Sometimes they dim if the battery is running low, especially after when I end up playing with my K5 camera to download videos. But they go back to normal as soon as the bike runs for about 5 mins.

Probably useful or not useful?

@@ninerpeak splicing into factory wiring… nope. Tell me a non intrusive method.
@paragsj Жыл бұрын
@@teach1644 True the method may not of of your liking :) but it is definitely useful to have additional lights. You can opt for an expensive option, there are expensive roundel lights that you can buy but you will also need a power regulator to plug them in. Those are pretty much plug-and-play solution but I think they make them only for K series. I couldn't find any for the RT. Let me know if you come across a better solution. Thanks for taking time to respond.

For the quality the chinese led's are way brighter than the all in one unit from for instance bike a thing. Besides the price is also no joke. I love the DIY route and done it as well on my R1250GS
