BMW R1100 Fuel pump and injectors upgrade

Hi I've had exactly the same problem. Mine was a broken wire in the cable that comes from the key barrel. I suppose with the handlebars moving and bending the cable over the years the wire just broke with fatigue. The bike would cut out for half a second or so, usually on a left turn or bend. It happened intermittantly about every 500 miles ish.

Yes I read about that problem on ukgser , I checked and my wiring was OK, yeah another possibility..

So, you feel the injectors didn't do much? How was the chip upgrade in the Motronic, was that a good upgrade? Did you notice an improvement if fuel consumption with the chip or the injectors?

Well it's hard to tell, all jobs done gradually and i don't have stock bike to compare with. I'm sure there is benefit but not extreme. Fuel consumption like I said in other video too, I only commute short city drive so bike still cold and moving true traffic, on full tank I do about 180mls ±, no motorway driving . If I get chance to compare with stock bike I defiantly make video, anyway for price of part I think it's worth of upgrade.
