Hi friend, when you buy the full system and remove the exup valve, does it not remove the engine brake? Does it not cancel the engine brake or does it as stock?

Nope. Might be like a decibel but it will be negligible. The silencers aren't all that different. It's the headers that wake the bike up.

This is going to be my next upgrade as well! Thanks for the inspiration. I also have the road 6’s, they drive wonderful. You will be enjoying them. Please update us after you have ridden it, im curious to the performance boost and sound while driving. I know some people that got rid of their J&H because they felt it disrupted the smooth driving experience when the valve was open. Wondering if this might feel ‘too much’ after a while as well in your opinion. Although, knowing you through your videos, I think im able to guess the answer. 🙏🏼 great video as always

Glad my videos can help man! You will not regret the Akra headers. Completely transform how the bike looks, sounds and performs. The bike is punchier and feels more aggressive. In dynamic pro, it's a monster! Have about 20 miles on the Road 6s and I can already feel a huge difference in confidence, tip in, and rideability. Can't wait to get them scrubbed in tomorrow. I was never a fan of the J&H. First off, it looked gigantic on the bike and doesn't even flow with the lines of the bike. Secondly, with having to wire up wires all the way to the handlebars would have been an absolute negative for me. Lastly, its expensive for what it is without any performance boost. Just go with a full Akra system at that price point... For me, I like loud exhausts. I wear ear plugs and listen to music, so I barely hear the bike anyways. For some, it will be loud, but for me, it's perfect and much more fun to ride now. Good luck!

Your bike looks so good! And what a great video thanks for the tutorial. I'm thinking about ordering the new header but wasnt sure it makes much of a difference, as you said it's always hard to tell through phone speakers on KZbin. I've done the servo delete and removed my baffles, but it sorta sounds like a lawn mower, would you say that with the new headers it produces a more aggressive sound or does it still sort of sound a bit underwhelming when you're actually opening it on the open road?

Doesn't affect it at all. Even my BMW dealer recommended them. As long as what malfunctions hasn't anything to do with the headers, you're fine. If a dealer ever turned you away because of an accessory or aftermarket part, find a new dealer as that one sucks. Here in SoCal, 90% of bikes are modified and have NEVER seen anyone be turned down. Too much competition.

I live in Southern California. While it’s technically illegal, cops don’t care at all. Most cops ride themselves and modify their own bikes. Almost every bike in SoCal does it.

No, I haven't remapped it. Haven't ridden her yet so I'm riding her today and will report back on whether I need to tune or not. As of right now, no error codes, however when I ride her, we'll see if one pops up.

It's stated in my video. I removed the servo motor entirely, along with the cables because I have the Healtech Servo eliminator installed.
