Get a cheap bag of kitty litter for the oil, coolant and other fluid spills. Let it soak up the fluids then grind it a bit with your work boots to remove the stain from the concrete floor.

Just found your YT! So excited because there aren’t any other KZbinrs who actually talk and show you repairs on a BMW. All they do is talk about how “unreliable “ bmw’s are. I have a 2017 bmw X3 xdrive35i and it’s been good to me! Love it.

Resently find your channel. Love seeing you getting these BMW’s running good again, keep up the good work, makes me want to do some maintenance myself👍👍

I may have deleted KZbin off of my phone, but when I have a moment to sit down in my living room, I'll still put yours up on the TV and enjoy some good repair videos! Always excited to see what you post!

Always satisfying getting these “small” jobs off the list. She’s starting to come together! Hopefully the E30 will sell soon to free up some funds for ya! You should add a “buy me street tacos” button to your channel like Stay Tuned does!

Love your channel! Tacos make the pain of dealing with codes more tolerable! I had a bit of Day Off DIY moment this weekend, limp mode and codes (no tacos tho) as one of the bung plugs in my vrsf charge pipe went missing and the other was loose. I had to get my groove on to replace it! it was fun to get in there. BTW, it's an NPT 1/8" plug, added some teflon tape and locktite...Home Depot has brass ones...If anyone has these charge pipes, might be worth checking that the plugs are tight.

Good video. May I suggest test for leaks with water then drain. Your rough idle when cold is probably injector related. Probably a seal or two. Also make sure you have a good battery. Some or all of those DTC’s will probably disappear. You may know all of this already. I’m new to the channel.

(Pre-apology lol. I'm sorry I always comment too much. But as many are saying you're the hottest N54 content right now on YT!) Oh yea brother you're right on target with the cooling system. Ooo I have hose clamp envy!! LOL. Sweet! You do such an excellent job of everything you do! I hate to bring up bad thoughts on the car but the weakest link in the future is the coolant pump. I finally put in an all aluminum one from Rock auto (best price I could find for brand name pump). I'm big time excited about your new turbos. Make sure you know what size they are as the larger sized up grades like I'm running and I think your new ones might be will require a few addendums. I've got 17T's and OEM are I think 10T's. You'll need 2 inch inlets as well and then you'll have to follow through with an up graded intercooler (Sorry) and then a custom tune which you'll need to flash onto it using MHD. MHD is just off the hook awesome to have. It's worth every penny and more. You can do SO MUCH! Live gauges, Options for many up grades and mods "ANTI LAG" So killer! You can check your engine lights immediately and erase them but they're stored for later reference. Record DATA Runs to read everything that happened in the pull etc. Plus so much more like Adaptations reset. The thing that hurts about doing this stuff is the cash. However the power gains are INSANE! I'm so addicted to the power now it's crazy. But it took a bit to get there and the learning curve was a bit too. But I'm hooked for the long run now. I'm sorry I always write too much in my comments. But I want to help so I get carried away. Plus keep you from the pitfalls I went through. All the best!

I really think it’s worth doing a leak test on the fuel injectors at this point. Just for a sanity check, brother.

Hey bro that radiator looks like the same one i’ve got from fcp euro, its failed 3 times from leaking at the driver side end tank. Highly recommend using the csf aluminum one. The fcp euro ones only lasted me 7k miles before they start to leak
@adem335i85 ай бұрын
try tightening the wastegates first and try to take logs. 3 4 full turns should raise boost levels. testo works beautifully for logging. i would try that first before tackling the turbos.

I dont know why bmw is always throwing in that thrasy radiators... they leak in every 3 model. Got that on my e36, e46 and now in my e90... This time i got one full of aluminium. Take care of yourself brother. See ya on the next one :)

Great Video per usual!! @Day Off DIY or anybody else, I did timing on my e46 because it was off timing and now it’s back in time and now it’s running worse than it was when it was out of time. Does anyone know if I have to do something with the computer or what? I’m part of a Facebook group here in SoCal but apparently no one knows anything.
