so if you wanted the studs to be flush you would have to measure the mm of the depth of the lug hole on the wheel? 68 or 70mm probably. my wheels are staggered 1" so i would need 2 sizes i think. i put a popsicle stick in there and they are about a 10mm difference. i would also have to go with regular lug nuts or find shorter race nuts. i noticed individual size purchases at motorsport. i might have to spend $20 on a few sizes to figure this out. they don't have dimensions on their website.

I got used to my setup and it was actually pretty nice looking with my ZCP wheels with spacers. I opted for the race lugs just to try them out. With my Forgestar wheel setup, the race lugs were too long, so I swapped for normal open-ended lugs from Motorsport Hardware and it looks much better.

I used this kit and really like it, but when removing a wheel, the entire stud came out! Yes I used blu locktite uugh, how do I remove the apparently rusted not and reinstall my stud?? Thanks dan

Yikes! You should be able to take a wire brush and clean the stud from any rust/debris, then reapply some loctite and reinstall. As long as the threads are all good, you should be fine to reuse it.

Awesome tutorial! How are they holding up? Nothing wrong with them?
@accelerated_motion2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Holding up just fine! However, stud conversion kits are generally items that need replacing after some time. They will eventually begin to rust and threads may go bad eventually if you take your wheels off and on a lot

hey, how did you chose the Standard Nut Options? just chose Non?

There should be drop downs for Standard Nut Options, or MH Racing Nut Options.

Hey I have a 2018 F82 M4 and I was told to go with the 78mm 14x1.25. I noticed you went with the 78mm 12x1.5… I was wondering on what the reason behind that is?

The F chassis requires a different thickness and thread pitch vs the E chassis.
