BMW X4 G02 fuel filter position/replacement

In the models manufactured after 2016, BMW introduced a new type of fuel filter, here in the case of the X4 model, where this filter can be found, how it looks and how to replace it.

How do you prime/bleed the air out? Or does the car do this on its own?

there are 2 possibilities, either press the start button and it starts after approx. 10-15 s, or put a diagnostic system and start the fuel pump, but be careful, the system only has a return by-pass with the pressure valve, so the air in the fuel filter will be hard to start the first time.

Hello, for a bmw g01 3.0i 2018 does it have a fuel filter? the mechanic said he doesn't order it, because he doesn't have one, its true?
