Is there a way to find a fuse with no electricity if the engine is turned off from the fuse box?

It would be very helpful to explain how you figured it was F1-11 and F1-13?? Also what fuse capacity you replaced them with? Also which fuse is front and rear?? Many thanks.

Great question. The fuse box diagrams are widely available on the internet. Here is an example but you can find it with any Google search too : fuse-box.info/bmw/bmw-x5-e70-2007-2013-fuses-and-relay F111 is the cigarette lighter in the main ashtray socket and the F113 is the cigarette lighter at the center armrest console. As far as the amperage, I replaced them with the same capacity as the original which was 20A for both

You’re video helped so much. The normal usb outlet inside the center console also charges very slowly or sometimes not at all, could this be related?

Hi, it is very unlikely that the issues are connected because with the fuse, you either have the power, or you do not. There is no in-between. However, in my car, I notice the usb outlet inside the console especially likes the original cables (in my case Apple.) I want to say it is because it transfers power and data so you can play your music through the entertainment screen. I too had issues with aftermarket cables, hopefully that is your issue as well because it is simple to overcome.

If you are in the US, any auto parts store like Autozone, Napa, or O’Reillys will have it. Sometimes Wal-Mart too
