Smart how you did your exhaust build so you can swap it back. I wish I did that on my Durango, because the crappy aluminized chamber muffler is rotting out. Now I have to reweld a pipe to connect the catylatic converter and get a new tail pipe. I let my Dad make a "custom" exhaust for it. So I could put a different muffler on it lol. Anyways now I have to revert all that, because I want to daily again and put the stock suitcase one back on lol. I wasn't very bright at 16 lol.

Hello I’m new to the channel. I recently purchased a 1998 Z3 with the 1.9 liter engine. Looking forward to all the BMW Z3 content and hope to learn more about the car.

@@nathanbringman9256 Awesome! Any particular problems that you have experienced since owning the Z3? Or any common issues that you are aware of?

@@XFile91 when I bought it the seat bushings were crushed to oblivion, so the seats slide forward about two inches, easy fix with a day off and $8 of parts, besides that, the A pillars can leak a bit where the little rubber plug is, you could replace the plug or put a layer of silicon on it

Other than that, no issues with the car so far, had it about 6 months

I dont get it. Those are 8.5" and they dont stick out of the narrow body quarter panels. I just completed my widebody swap and had to order 2" spacers for the gap I ended up with. 8.5" wide wheels should fit flush with the wide body, not the regular body. Please advise.

It has something to do with the offset I guess. I just took them off of the 330Ci and bolted them on. There is more of the wheel to the backside than in front of the lug nuts.

Thanks for the reply. The 8.5s look great on your Z3. I like the staggered look with the fat tires showing off in the rear. Great job with your project.

What kinda exhaust you have ?
@gerechoppers2 жыл бұрын
It was a custom exhaust that I fabricated. I have the stock exhaust on it now since I’m living in a townhouse temporarily. I’m trying to be a good neighbor and not be so noisy.
