What's your favorite BMW ALPINA Car?

The ALPINA brand was well-represented at the 2023 Legends of the Autobahn with owners bringing out ALPINA-badged 2002s and even a B8 Touring (that’s an E36 wagon with the E34 540i’s V8 stuck under the hood).
But new models made just as much of an impression. The best was quite clearly the ALPINA Blue Metallic B8 Gran Coupe, but a facelifted XB7 also had quite a presence.

Just picked up a 2016 B6 yesterday. Completely different than any other car i own. Including M5s, 550is. This is a car i will keep. Never seen one in person until i saw one for sale. Had to buy it.

I love Alpinas. I'm not even a SAV guy. However, I would buy the XB7. It's a fantastic vehicle! Grateful we still have two Alpina models for sale here in the US.

Really fun video. Matt's knowledge of Alpina models and history is remarkable. I currently own a 2018 B6 Gran Coupe, which I absolutely love. And he is right about the gas station comment - I constantly get asked about my car at gas stations but also parking garages and restaurant valets (to name a few others). Not sure how much longer I'll have my B6 but this will NOT be my last Alpina!
