@@JRLL81_ I’ve only ever owned BMW the last 20 years, biggest customer for Rusnak BMW is Los Angeles with the most referrals. But BMW design team is losing their touch with these new models. new X2, iX, X3, 5 series all of them.. My current models are 2019 440 GC, 2019 650 GC and 2023 BMW i7x60. Gf drives a 2024 M340i. I’ve got experience in every vehicle they sell. You can’t tell me they aren’t losing their design touch.

Glowing grill on the M5 is corny as hell. Other than that the front is decent. It's not horrible looking but the outgoing M5 is just so pretty, it's a hard act to follow.

Not sure how you can argue electrification when it's only 25 miles of range at a cost of an increased 1000 pounds. Owning an F90 LCI, its already heavy, but I'm not sure what kind of performance they intend to squeeze out of this. Other than maintaining the same 4.4 V8, it's heavier, slower (besides being non-competition), and still lacks any arguably beneficial range. Not feeling it, sorry.

I really like this new BMW M5, it's still as aggressive as ever but, and there's always a "but", the car has had a rather strange grille for some time now with horrible headlights and the rear end is fine but for a brand like BMW it's not enough! Personally, I prefer my F90 BMW racing car, but hey! And by the way, where is the BMW M5 G90 touring?

Wow hmm there’s a reason Chris bangle lasted at BMW FOR 17 years as Head of BMW DESIGN. Now we see what’s it’s like when he’s not there not direction noting in the design that draws from previous BMW design language. True M models are made to be able to drive on track. Can one confidently drive fast on the track with a car which weighs more than 2400kg? Sure, the active M-suspention can keep the car stable in curves, but did anyone try breaking with such a heavy car on wet surface? M models are designed to be lighter then serial model, and this M5 is actually heavier than the regal 5 series. Specifically, M5 was conceptualised to be a practical track ready vehicle, and the new M5 has trunk space of 470 liters, 60 leters less than the previous generation. To me this seems to be like a step back for the M5 model.

I am very curious why this car has such a strange stats? Panamera Turbo E hybrid has 50hp and 50 NM less, weighs the same and is 0.3 seconds faster to 100 (in 100-200 M5 seems to be 0.6 faster). What is the trick?

The F90 LCI is a beautiful, well crafted design...it's handsome, executive, aggressive and creates emotion...not sure on the design direction here...not a fan of the lit grill, the drl's and the huge m5 logo on the hofmeister kink is not necessary...the rear tail lights look like an amg gt 63 coupe...why? It's not the ///M5 I was anticipating...the interior has some nice lighting and branding elements on the headrest etc...but what's wrong with having a few tactile buttons for temperature control etc.? New HUD looks nicer...an attractive car but maybe the LCI will fix a number of things..hope the M division can fix the m3 with a more proportional grill and some more exciting tail lights and body lines. 🙏

Looks beautiful, but how did you manage to make it SLOWER than the F90 M5 Comp which did it (0-60) in 3.3s? Let‘s hope it doesn‘t disappoint too much in actual drag races, rollings and track performances. Edit: 0-200 Video and the M5 did it in pretty much 10.2s around that. Barely slower than the F90 M5cs, even though it has a lot worse BHP/Ton. 0-100 is (around) 3 seconds flat. Let’s wait for actual numbers.
