When the 96 and up mongoose line was new I saw SO many, the only bmx shop on my side of the bridge was mainly mongoose bikes. The bmx track was on our side of the bridge so the jumping setups and race bikes were popular in my neighborhood growing up in North Kamloops. I was always a gt guy but Damn these bring back memories

Hey re-rides, just a thought, I came across some mongoose wheels the other day and they were 1.75 years believe, I know these size rims mostly go in race/track bikes but it would be good to know the dimensions for the rims for each bike. When you mention that they are double wall araya rims with formula alloy hubs, you could add in the 1.75” or 2.21” rims, or whatever they may be.

Sure thing. Cheers for the feedback

Great video, thanks!!! I am trying to find data on the 1997 Mongoose Rogue. It is listed as having a 1" headset, but I ned to know if this 1" headset is the old standard 32.7mm or the newer 30.2mm size. I make conversion 1 1/8" headsets and my customers ask me all the time about these older BMX frames.
@re-rides2 жыл бұрын
Yep the older 32.7 BMX size is the one.

Are you aware of mongoose making hybrid models in this erra? I have what apears to be a 1997 24 inch expert pro frame design with supergoose pro tail and drop outs or rear wheel mounts,, not loop tail but rite below the seat post clamp is same desighn as expert pro, and the decals apear to match 1998 models in yellow faded up to white but cant find anything like em on 1997 models.. Been going in circles trying to figure out what model this bike is with the few different non sence making characteristics lol

In the USA Mongoose made two types of bikes in the late 90’s. There were the Mongoose Pro branded bikes that were sold in bike shops which were also sold internationally. They also made a range of cheaper models that did not have the Pro badge that were made for the US market and sold through department stores like Walmart.
