Sambo is judo, wrestling and jujitsu. combat Sambo is mma on a mat instead of a cage. Of course it’s going to be the best thing for mma. For years mma people saw it as some obscure Russian gimmick. I believed that, until I saw a combat sambo match. Russia basically has organized mma as a sport that kids play. Start wrestling at 6 or start competing in mma at 6. Of course sambo is gonna be better for mma, it is mma on a mat.

Oklahoma is not that bad, we got a lot of rivers and lakes to hang out at. If you need to stand around a bunch of people in a concrete jungle then by all means, to each their own. There is a lot of peace in Oklahoma! Everyone is armed around here to ppl know to not bring to much shenanigans around here !

Arman and Gamrot has equally good wrestling as well, what makes Makhachev better grappler than them is Judo which comes from Sambo. Sambo has Striking, Wrestling, Judo, Submissions.

@@timurjack8773Im sorry to say that to you but Gamrot and Tsarukyan have good wrestling but not a great wrestling. They didnt have the submission with it, only take time control for taking the round. A little boring even if Tsarukyan develop little by little good ground and pound. They dont have the final approach like Islam and Khabib. Islam is versatile and have a lot of different finish « bjj » style. Hes most well rounded and have actually with Khamzat the best wrestling adapted to mma

`David Taylor will be able to bring with him practice schedules, techniques, and championship experience that will be tough to completely institute into Oklahoma's established tradition. BUT...Will David Taylor be able to bring Cael's mindset, selflessness, vision, spirituality, and a coaching staff with the loyalty that Cael and Cody have? That is yet to be seen. I predict an excellent program. Perhaps even as good or almost as good as John Smith's program. Do I think Oklahoma will hang with Penn State? No. David Taylor is David Taylor. But David Taylor is not Cael Sanderson. It's not like he is replacing a slouch. He's replacing John Smith one of the greatest to ever do it. Oh...and he has to do it in Stillwater....Aint nobody wanna live in Stillwater.
