GSP beat 3 generations of welterweights, 5 former undisputed champs across 3 divisions, 4 former strikeforce/interim ufc champs, AND he avenged his only 2 losses by finishing both opponents. Oh, and he moved up a weight class and won that belt too. 🐐

Even if he won that second belt, it was against the worst middleweight champ in history. And he had one eye. Generations of welterweights means nothing, neither does all the other things you mentioned. Bottom line is Usman beat better fighters than GSP.

Probably what Usyk means for us Ukrainians right now (in sports of course, right now ther's unfortunately not a match for our armed forces).\ I always felt that was the case with you guys and Georges, I remember way back in the day I watched documentaries about some problems and disadvantages and maybe unfairness of kind French speaking Canadians felt and whatnot (not implying you are one since I don't know), and when he became that truly larger than life star or rather a Hero I wondered that he was probably so loved by Canadians in general and Francophones Canadians in particular and this always put a smile on my face and made me happy for Canada, even though I never really knew is that was what's happening, but I believed that

@Pootie_Tang

@@D0GGy333 I was born in 1991, growing up every Klitschkos' fight was something like I imagine football (soccer) is in Brazil, meaning everyone from toddlers to grandmas were glued to TV's at any time of day or night, in big cities and in the most rural of villages on ancient black and white tv-sets =) They are our heroes for sure, one of the brothers is a mayor of a city I'm in now, our capitol of Kyiv, for around ~5 years now, maybe more. It's hard to compare them to Usyk, different times. Usyk represented Ukraine for the last ~10 years right now, the war years. And he's also such a decent, stand-up guy, sincere and a masterful boxer too. He's about to try to unify belts fighting Fury, and... Imagine how Canada would feel about GSP's career, if it would be happening during a great full scale war launched at you (god forbid, of course). That's how we feel. Lomachenko is also a great boxer, but unfortunately he appeared to be a half-way russian invasion apologist, maybe not quite, but sort of. Needless to say he's stigmatized by the vast majority of us now, that''s a shame, he's such a talent, but his family is just... whatever. Anyways, best of luck to you, friend 🤝

As much as I like Usman, he isn’t on the GSP level. George’s was so dynamic and so fast with his take downs. The best wrestlers in the ufc didn’t see GSPs takedowns coming. But that Usman/Chimaev fight, told us ALOT about Kamarus, heart, strength,integrity and toughness. If there was no GSP, Usman would most likely be the goat.
