Just discovered your channel and have subscribed and look forward to catching up on your previous content, looks like I have a lot to catch up on and I love the different things you cover too. Brilliant name for your new podcast and one that I will definitely be following and watching. Mental health needs more positive voices to let people know that they are not alone. I echo a comment from someone else, men seem to especially struggle to talk about it, maybe it’s from not wanting to feel ‘weak’, that was part of the case for me personally. Once again very much looking forward to catching up on your channel and getting to see some of the stunning countryside you moved to. Best wishes to the both of you and have a great weekend gents

YAY! First to Comment and Like - first time in following you guys for many years. This is a great concept for everyone, not only those with really bad anxiety. Love your channel and the way you've moved on since the canal days and the fact that you've brought most of us along with you speaks volumes. Keep it UP!

I’ve got a fair few things that help me with my mental health. The big one is the S.T.O.P technique. When things get to much I shout STOP wherever I am 😂 S.Stop what you’re doing T. Take a step back O. Observe my surroundings P. Proceed mindfully. My family just stand with me until I’ve finished. Or So What. Years I would worry about losing it in public my amazing psychologist said to me. So what if you do. So now I sing pinks so what, I love the fact that mental health is being talked more and more. What I love more is the fact that MENS mental health is finally being spoken about You’re not alone x

As one who often gets accused of talking 'plural and spherical' -- good luck with the new thing. Just don't fret too much about how it will go 😄

We seem to of lost the benefit of laughter. The younger generation is going to have trouble talking to their neighbours! Talking to a random person in the street! Or just asking the shop assistant for directions. This is all because they are transfixed with a mobile device and have ear pods in. They will all suffer with their mental health because they will not have any confidence talking to anyone. I came from a small village where everyone knew everyone, and everyone was always talking, even if you didn’t know them that well you would just talk!! But not now. No one has the time.

As one who works a lot with young people - I don't think you know young people very well. What you say is the same as I heard 15 years ago -the time when my daughter was playing on-line games. She would be working with a team of other players and talking to them on head set while also doing in-game chat as well via chat windows. As well as this she would be also communicating with others outside of the game envroinment. As for laughing, social media is used to share funny clips, to joke, to arrange to meet and have fun. Have a search for 'Socrates and teenagers' -despite the centuries it all sounds so familiar.
