Haha love it when John says in reference to the severe damage that the car will sustain after he does the jump, " I think it would be cool to have the General Lee out there in the swamp ....resting" Great idea John, but I have a better idea, just give it to me, I'll take good care of the General!! Haha. Wish I could be at your extravaganza but our state (Connecticut) locks down on Monday March 23 due to this evil Corona virus. A car with a full frame can handle the landing a lot better, good choice on using a full frame Ford car as the base. I always wondered why a unibody car was chosen in the first place for jumping on the show.

I test drove a 69 road runner and went into a country intersection doing 25 and nailed the brakes and spun the wheel and pegged it and left on awesome donut on the road. I even surprised myself. Unfortunately my passenger ( its owner) was quite upset and very scared and decided he didn't like me... Wouldnt sell it to me... Its alright it had a 383 and barely would make 120..
